What does the Cyber Attack Simulation Exercise involve?

During this facilitator-led cyber hacking exercise, you will experience what it’s like to go through a real cyber breach. What will you do? How will you manage?

How many people can take part?

Four members of your team are needed for this exercise. Each will play one of four different positions of a crisis management team in the fictitious company; PurpleDay.

Where does the exercise need to be held?

The exercise is played in a web-app that simulates a virtual desktop where you can chat with different stakeholders, check emails, make decisions and more. We can host your team at our Dunedin training rooms, at your place of business* or another suitable external location.

How much time does it take?

This is a half-day exercise, designed to give you real insights to your current preparedness in the face of a security breach. There will be a short presentation beforehand to help get you started and a group discussion at the end.

We also send you a report with feedback on your results.

*To host the workshop at your place of business, one of our team will need to visit to ensure the venue is viable and we can operate on a secure guest internet connection separate from your business network.
